The whole story: After giving birth 12 years ago, I was diagnosed with prolapse. I saw 2 different physical therapists which helped, but left me wanting more. I was fitted for a pessary which helped, but did not do as much as I wanted it to. I saw a surgeon and knew that surgery was an option, but something I could only do once. As time went on, I felt a clock ticking of getting closer to surgery and having no other options. This entire time I continued to weight train, run, and do yoga. But there was always this feeling of fragility. That it could all get worse in any moment. As I approached perimenopause, I could feel things starting to get worse. When a friend told me about Angela, I started following her on IG and jumped on the chance to be a part of the CORELift program. If it made a 1% improvement, it would be worth it. I really loved this program because of Angela's knowledge and passion. I have done other postpartum weight-lifting/HIIT programs and while I appreciate those as well, this one placed far more focus on coordinating breath with movement and intrabdominal pressure. I desperately needed this, as even the five pelvic floor PT's that I have seen did not help me with this to the extent that Angela did (actually, only one of the PF PT's helped with this). Before I finished Core Lift, I signed up for two more of Angela's programs. Her humility and friendly style is authentic and she really shows the "realness" of her.
